WEB MINISTRY, GRAPHIC ARTS, LIGHTS & SOUNDS MINISTRY
Undeniably, for the past years, the internet has been a valuable tool for a church.
I also believed the local church like us could expand our ministry from small to a global context. Just like
our Pastor Dave said; “We are local small church, but we are operating like a big church”.
The ultimate goal of a website is to help people know about our mission statement, ministries, services,
staff resources, contact information, location, community event, sharing information among members of the
congregation, and interaction to people far beyond our own physical community. The prayer requests online
were added where people can freely post their prayer online, and pray for one another. It is like a web log,
where we can edit, and delete if necessary. We update it regularly to keep it active, but not necessarily
interactive such as Praise Reports & Testimonies from our prayer ministry and upcoming events.
We would like to acknowledge the contribution of Julie Hood & Kathy Puccio’s articles, inspirations and
poems into our web. It is not only once, we have been asked numerous times if they can print, use and
share their articles from our site. These two wonderful ladies blessed, and uplifted many people spirit. And
also thank you, Virgie Pugh, for providing me the photos of our events.
This year, with the coordination of ministry leaders, such as Manny Sanchez, our Media Light & Sounds
Tech Ministry, and James Bentley, Music Ministry Director, with his input, David Corona Jr. (deceased) who
originally planned and set this goal for his father, Pastor Dave, his goal is to have our Sunday Service audio
recording sermons with his weekly messages, that includes broadcasting online. We all believe that there is
a power in the spoken words, and some people will eventually choose to accept Christ as their Savior based
on what they have heard and seen online. And hopefully soon after that, our video music recording of music
ministry will be added in our site.
