Love Words

The words we speak to each other are extremely important.

Words spoken in anger or in pride when shot out (like an arrow)
will pierce even the thickest armor (or heart).
THESE WORDS CANNOT EVER BE TAKEN BACK.

MATTHEW 12:34
….OUT OF THE ABUNDANCE OF THE HEART, THE MOUTH SPEAKETH.

We cannot let past hurts or unforgiveness embitter our words.
Deal with these feelings before they tear you and your marriage apart.

PROVERBS 18:21
DEATH AND LIFE ARE IN THE POWER OF THE TONGUE,
AND THEY THAT LOVE IT SHALL EAT THE FRUIT THEREOF.

But love words, spoken often, can be an intrigal part of marriage;
a sort of glue that binds couples, and helps keep marriage intact.
These words uplift and affirm a relationship.
They should always be truthful and spoken to each other daily.
They are a soothing balm in this harsh world.

PROVERBS 16:24
PLEASANT WORDS ARE AS HONEYCOMB, SWEET TO THE SOUL,
AND HEALTH TO THE BONES.

Words, spoken in love, are as important to us as food.
They give us the will and strength to forge ahead when
the world says you should not.

SONG OF SOLOMON 4:11
THY LIPS, O MY SPOUSE, DROP AS THE HONEYCOMB,
HONEY AND MILK ARE UNDER MY TONGUE,
AND THE SMELL OF THY GARMENTS IS LIKE THE SMELL OF LEBANON.

When Satan does his best to destroy our happy home,
the words spoken in love and in truth will help us say  “No, I love my spouse.
Our God loves us and will help us endure.”

SONG OF SOLOMON 6:3
I AM MY BELOVED’S, AND MY BELOVED IS MINE.
