As it was in the days of Noah, so it shall be again,
With people unafraid of God, living their lives out in sin.
It took Noah many years to build that giant ark for God
While telling all around him that water would cover the sod.
The world laughed at Noah, went on living their lives in pleasure,
Never once believing a rain that could come without measure.
The flood killed all the people, although the warnings they did hear.
When the door was shut, and the rain poured, they clutched their hearts in fear.
We are a lot like Noah’s time, living in pleasures of sin,
Knowing well the Lord is waiting to come back to earth again.
He wants His bride to be holy, living a life that is pure;
Watching, waiting for His return with confidence that is sure.
The world laughs at the Lord’s return and wonders if God is real,
While Christians are caught up in life….with clothing, or their next meal.
They go to church on Sunday but their hearts are not really there,
They live a life all their own as if God does not really care.
Wake up, people! The Lord is coming, His warnings are very clear,
So will you be dressed and ready to go, or left and standing here?
Even the animals obeyed God’s call and went in two by two.
The flood was bad, but this will be worse, I am going with Christ, are you?
