According to the Holy Scriptures:         Book of Proverbs 31:10-31

The book of Proverbs defines a virtuous woman.  We cannot comprehend doing the things that are
outlined there.  There is no way that I can spin yarn, nor am much good at making things and selling
them.  But that was what women of that day were trained to do.  Today, we don’t need to spin, but
there are so many other things that we need to do according to the Bible.  These are the Bible’s
guidelines for A Virtuous Woman.  She is:

•        Devoted to her husband and cares for his needs.
*        She never gives him cause to mistrust her.
*        She tends to him, their children, and the house to the best of her ability.
•        She dresses in an attractive manner, making sure that she is dressed modestly.
•        She makes their home a harmonious, pleasant place to be.
•        She does not enter into gossipy situations, nor is she spiteful or argumentative.
•        Every day, before her family arises, she prays over the home and for everyone who lives there.
•        She teaches the children in the ways of the Lord, so that they may be well armed.
•        She seeks Godly wisdom before voicing an opinion in any situation.
•        She never takes on more duties until she is certain that the new duties will not interfere with
the quality of her present duties.
•        She should start the day with a positive outlook and a smile.
•        She must make sure she stays physically, mentally, and spiritually fit, ready to perform her
       God-given tasks.
*        She is not slothful or lazy.  She does not give in to feelings of discontent, self-pity or
       depression.
•        She examines her works to be sure they are pleasing to God.
*        Her spiritual lamp must be full at all times; ready for battle day and night.
*        She must (with God’s guidance) to be able to take on all her responsibilities with confidence.
*        She reverently fears the Lord.
•        She should feel compassion for, and be willing to help—the poor in health, poor in wealth, and
       poor of spirit.
•        She must be sure she is in right standing with the Lord,  so that she can know where she
stands on all issues, and be able to show strength and dignity in all situations.

If you follow this guideline you will not bring shame to yourself, your husband, or to God.

Does this all seem over-whelming?  Try checking  each item, one at a time.
It won’t be long until you realize that you are a virtuous woman.
