It’s hard to put the Lord first in all we try to do;
Our time and money are all spent on things that’s just not few.

We rush out every morning, one hundred things to do…
We run and rush all day long, only did fifty-two.

We can’t pray in the morning, we’re always running late;
And noontime is no better, our lunch we barely ate.

At night time we’re so tired, we can’t seem to go on,
So we quickly fall asleep, awakening at dawn.

Our money keeps on slipping, we try hard not to spend…
Never have enough for food or bills by the week’s end.

More we try, the less we have of money and time too,
Keep on needing more from life and don’t know what to do.

But I have found an answer that we all need to know;
That we must put Jesus first so all else will follow.

So if I will take the time to read God’s Word and pray,
Then I find I have more time to work throughout my day.

And going to church each week and paying my tithes too,
Will give me much more money for things I wanted too.

So seek ye first the Kingdom of the Lord and you’ll find
That money is not a problem and you will have more time!
