Are You Discouraged? by Kathleen Puccio

A couple of years ago, a small child attended his very first of Sunday school.
Because the lesson took longer than expected, the Sunday School teacher told the little boy
that she was glad he came, but she was sorry that they did not have time for the refreshments.

The little boy smiled at her, and said,
“Oh, that’s okay, I just wanted to hear about Jesus”.

The teacher was so touched she told the child’s grandmother what had happened. She then added,
“Sometimes, we wonder if any of the children hear, or even care. This child has made my day!”

We all need to hear that we try to do for the Lord is not in vain.

In today’s world people seem so hard hearted, and unwilling to listen to anything teachers,
and ministries have to say.
But to take heart, there will always be the man, woman,
or even small child who has come just to hear about Jesus.

Let us not let them down.

I have no greater joy than to hear that
my children walk in truth. -3 John 1:4

Are You Discouraged?

Although she has passed on, her dedication to God continues to shape not only me,
but countless others. I thank God for mothers who have the fortitude to teach about Jesus.
She, a widow, raised five children & never complained.
