Packing tips for moving into a new home

Moving home is a big step, and it requires lots of planning, packing, moving and other activities that may consume your time. In order to make everything efficient, safe and fast, it is important to pack properly and safely transfer the belongings to a new home. Choosing a right moving company will help you in this, together with some useful packing tips we have prepared for you.

Choosing a moving company

Before the moving day, you should choose a moving company. Of course, you can do everything on your own, but it is very stressful, time-consuming and there is also some risk involved. There are excellent Framingham movers and storage companies you can hire on affordable price, which will certainly reduce the stress, risk and time needed for the moving.

It is important, above all, that the moving company you choose has all the necessary operating licenses and that they have insurance for your belongings. This way you can be sure that your items are safe, and even if something valuable gets damaged, the company will make it up to you.

Make a selection of items

Before you start packing, you need to choose what you will bring into the new home, what you will give away and what you can get rid of. This will save you a lot of time later, when you get to packing, moving and unpacking stuff. Get rid of all the old, unusable items such as old clothes, bed linen, towels and kitchenware. You can sell or give away some appliances and furniture you do not plan on using when you move.

Get the packing materials on time

Before you start packing, make sure to prepare all the materials. Get the cardboard boxes, plastic bags, old newspapers and bubble wrap in advance. Prepare adhesive tape, scissors and knives as well. If you saved the original boxes of TV, stereo and other appliances, now is the time to use them. Having everything at hand will make the packing much faster and easier, and it will also be easier for you to organize.

Use what you have

Even though you need some storage and wrapping materials for packing, the good news is that you can also use what you have. For example, you can use towels and bedding to wrap fragile items like glasses, mugs, plates, lamps and other things. You can fold all the parts of bedding and insert them into matching pillowcases. This system will help you protect the fragile items, but it will also help you save on bubble wrap. You will pack the things you would pack anyway, but they will have a protective purpose, too.

Have a system

The items need to take as little space as possible, so pay attention how you stack them. Do not mix things from different rooms in the same box. Mark every box by writing what is inside, and a useful trick to do it is by using color code. Choose a color for each room and place it on the appropriate boxes. This will make it much easier to find the boxes that belong to each room once you start unpacking.

These packing tips will help you organize the time and items. Once you start unpacking, it will be fast and efficient, and you will be able to enjoy your new place much sooner.

Why is Sunday Mass important

Why is Sunday Mass important

Even the most devoted Catholics sometimes ask themselves whether it is really necessary to go to the Mass every Sunday. No matter how much your faith is strong, you sometimes simply do not feel like leaving home, for one reason or the other. It is even more difficult when the children ask whether they really must go, and it can be difficult to explain them why is it necessary to visit church every Sunday. If you ever come in any of these situations, it is important to find the inner strength and motivation and visit the Mass after all, and there certainly are plenty of reasons to do so.

Remember that the Mass serves to receive God’s love and respond to it. Even though the word “love” has lost its power and strength over the years and it mostly refers to the emotion or even physical sensations, in terms of God’s love it should be perceived differently. It is a self-gift of both God towards us and us towards Him, and on the Mass we share our love, time, energy, joy, hope, but also worries and problems with the Lord.

The Mass provides encountering Christ in the most profound way there is. Eternity and time meet at the Mass, and we are learned that in the celebration of the Mass Christ is present with us and he shares his love with us. Being present at the Mass provides us with several aspects of meeting with Christ. Firstly, we encounter him in the community of the faithful. Secondly, we encounter him in His World. Then, we encounter Him in the priest, and the most importantly, we encounter Him in the Eucharist by taking His body and blood.

Gathering and praying with the parish family is important, because the life of a Christian represents a pilgrimage which we all make with our brothers and sisters in Christ. The word “Liturgy” means “work of the people”, which is why we are meant to pray together with the other believing members of our community.

Visiting the Mass also strengthens the bonds with our own family. Many people do not have time to spend with their family due to the fast-paced lifestyle and plenty of work and daily chores they need to fulfill. Visiting the Sunday Mass is the way for the family to spend time together and strengthen their bonds in faith and prayer. The Mass also serves for witnessing our own faith, and it is a way for setting the example for our children and grandchildren. If we want to teach the younger members of our family Christian values, there is no better way than setting the example ourselves.

Lastly, joining the Mass means participating in Christ’s victory over death. Every Sunday is like “little Easter”, because this day is the day when Christ resurrected from the dead. This is why, by visiting the Mass, we celebrate His victory over death and we pay a tribute to the sacrifice he took for us.

Christian Family Is A Happy Family

Christian Family Is A Happy Family

God tells us that our children should be taught about Christian values from the beginning of their life. Once they learn the Christian principles and values they will always have God on their side and they will be safe and they will have a power to overcome small obstacles life throws on them. The Family Life Church is here to guide you through that, so you can raise your children to serve God and to feel they love he gives.

If you raise your children without introducing them to the love and happiness God gives so freely they will never understand the difference between right and wrong and they will never feel the love of God. No matter where you work, be it soldier, office clerk or long distance moving Company worker, god loves us all and he wishes happiness to us and our children, so we should raise them to recognize and appreciate that love.

You should not force the love of God to the children, if you do they will never understand the message you are trying to send them. Start with reading scriptures, first alone and then with your children. Develop a habit of reading scripture, and after some time children will be eager to study it.

Once there is a habit in them add prayer as well. Pray in front of your kids, and teach them how to address to God, our Heavenly Father. Encourage them to pray whenever they are in doubt. This will be a seed of faith that will grow slowly.

Children must realize the power of repentance and the evil that exists in this world. Teach them that we are all sinners and that no man or woman is perfect. Teach them that even good people make mistakes and that through the power of God; repentance creates forgiveness and freedom that is created through it.

Teach them to love unconditionally, as Lord Jesus Christ loved all people. Show them that goodness can be found even in those that are bad, and that sometimes not understanding someone means that we classify them as bad from the beginning. Show them the error that comes from it. Teach them to pray for the enemies and to strengthen their relationships with people that are close to them.

Implement the seed of forgiveness in your children through your own example. Forgive their mistakes and teach them to forgive mistakes of others. Make sure that they know that misunderstanding of the wish and act results in anger, where it should lead to understanding and forgiveness.

Serve your family and teach your children to serve their superiors and their community. Service comes in many forms but the end is same, it will cheer you by knowing that your children are becoming good members of the community through the power of God.

Love of the family comes through being together which is hard with all work that must be done. So set a date every week when you and your family sit together and talk about God, your experiences and similar things.
